Profile
Maxine is a highly talented and vivacious Harpist who began music at the age of 4. She started playing the Harp at the age of 9 due to the encouragement of her parents who were both members of the Halle Orchestra. She went on to study at Chethams School of Music where she studied under the renowned Harpist Elinor Bennett.
From 1989 Maxine has pursued a busy freelance career working with various Symphony and Ballet orchestras. She has been touring the UK with the Moscow City Ballet since 1992 and has also played with the English National Ballet and City Ballet of London. Her solo career includes numerous concertos and recitals.
She appears regularly in leading hotels and restaurants around the UK as well as playing for special occasions (weddings, birthdays etc.) and corporate events. Maxine has an extensive repertoire for such events ranging from classical to popular and folk music. She has also established a Flute and Harp duo called Melandra.
If your event is a wedding, Maxine is available to play at your Wedding Breakfast, Drinks Reception or Ceremony. Please note the time slots available.
