Where do Lady Marmalade perform and for what type of events?
Lady Marmalade have been performing the professional circuit for 7 years and have performed at many corporate events private parties and weddings across the UK and abroad. No event is too large or too small; Lady Marmalade have brought their show to venues such as The Savoy and Madame Tussauds in London The Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort in Dubai and The Park Hyatt Zurich in Switzerland. Lady Marmalade regularly perform for the British Army the Royal Navy and the Royal Airforce. They are undoubtedly one of the UK's top choices for wedding entertainment as they are guaranteed to make your wedding reception a lively and unforgettable event from start to finish. Lady Marmalade also perform at 18th 21st 40th 50th and 60th birthdays...their music suits all ages which is why they receive many bookings for these type of parties as well as corporate events. This Sussex-based band have had many repeat bookings from recommendation from clients who have either booked them before or whom have attended previous gigs.
How would you describe their show and what makes them so different to other bands?
This is a band who turn up to your party with bags of charisma and personality elaborate costumes, and modern, state of the art sound and light equipment which can compete against many of the top acts on the professional circuit today. Lazer and disco lighting, smoke effects with sound-to-light spotlights and a full 2x2metre screen incorporating projected shapes and moving images throughout the night, give your party that electric atmosphere it so needs. If you wish for particular photo images of you, your family, guests or friends to be projected throughout the evening, then this can also be arranged as part of your evening's entertainment. A full star cloth back-drop is also available at request, and not forgetting an in-house DJ option with a repertoire of over 12,000 tracks...the list is endless, but one thing is for sure - Lady Marmalade will ensure your event is talked about for many years to come! Whether you're planning your wedding entertainment, a corporate party or a themed event, Lady Marmalade will go out of their way to make it a fantastic night's entertainment for you and your guests.
Would you describe Lady Marmalade as modern, professional, experienced and very unique?
Lady Marmalade’s modern approach to their performance, gives them the opportunity to stand out as extremely unique amongst the many other corporate bands on the circuit today. The musicians, John (guitar), Tom (bass) and Rob (drums) are all highly experienced in their field, and have performed all over the UK and internationally with some of the UK's most professional recording acts over the last decade. These talented musicians have an amazing vibe together...the groove has never been greater with Lady Marmalade.
Time and time again the 3 vocalists, Kate, Lizzy and Nikki continue to provide the ‘wow-factor’ to any event, no matter how large or small the audience…they have performed shows in front of crowds as little as 50 people, and concerts with as many as 8,000 in attendance…whatever the size of your event, they certainly know how to keep an audience superbly entertained. These girls just want to get you up on your feet, and to dance the night away! Their personalities shine through in every performance, and they love to make the audience feel part of the show. By the end of the evening you'll feel as if you've known these girls for years; they do their utmost to quickly build a bond between the band and the guests and you can't help but notice that they thoroughly enjoy what they do!
How long do Lady Marmalade appear on stage?
Lady Marmalade perform 2 x 1 hour sets of music, with a break in-between - usually lasting about 20 minutes to half an hour. But be warned...Lady Marmalade don't appear on stage for all this time...they are quite often found dancing with your guests on the dance floor or around the dinner tables!
What happens during Lady Marmalade's break between sets? Do we need to book a separate DJ on the night?
During the break Lady Marmalade can provide an in-house DJ option to keep the party going, so your guests are constantly entertained while they await the band to arrive back on stage for the second half. With a dedicated sound and light technician and a full mixing desk accompanying the band at every event, Lady Marmalade can ensure that their sound is skillfully controlled to an optimum standard throughout the evening. With over 12,000 tracks provided with the DJ option, you can be assured that all music tastes are catered for. You can choose whether you wish for background music to be played as your guests arrive in the afternoon/evening, which can also continue as you are seated for dinner. As the evening moves on the music will gradually become more upbeat and lively, as your guests get in the mood to dance! Lady Marmalade provide your complete entertainment for the whole evening, so you don't need to worry about hiring any equipment or a DJ separately.

I'm not sure if we have the space at the venue or the budget for the full 6-piece band. Do Lady Marmalade have another option?
Yes, although Lady Marmalade mainly work as a 6-piece band, they can also be booked as 3 female vocalists with the same lighting and PA system, which still includes all the other extra show aspects such as projector/screen, star cloth, lazers, smoke and disco lighting. The choice is yours. Lady Marmalade are very flexible and can fit to your requirements.

Comments: I just wanted to take the time to add feed back on Lady Marmalade who played at the evening of our Civil partnership last night.
I REALLY would like to do this to let people know how truly fantastic they are.
They have been fantastic leading up to the event, putting us at ease over the difficult venue - the 14th Century Northcote Manor Country Hotel in the heart of North Devon.
When we arrived at the venue at 12.30 they were already setting up and had sorted out any issues with the Hotel manager, so that they did not interfere with any of the afternoon event.
They worked the set to suit our evening and they had EVERYBODY up dancing and singing and interacted with those who were slightly 'inebriated' and wanted photos!.
The Christina and Kylie tribute they performed set the evening off well - and it just got better and better. The main comment of everyone was how truly fantastic they were. You could not get better if you paid treble!

Comments: My assistant was there to meet the band and they were VERY well organised, and very impressive set up, with smoke machines, media screens, etc.
All in all very good entertainment. My crowd was made up of young, charismatic business people, who don’t get up dancing easily, and that was one of the main reasons I booked – I saw the references saying the girls got people up dancing, and even though it took a while, they certainly achieved that!
A particular mention to the lady who did the Kylie tribute as Kylie was in the hotel all weekend, and she performed under extreme pressure, knowing the lady she was impersonating was ‘around’ – well done!

Just to say thank you so much for your fantastic performance on Saturday evening. Everyone commented on how brilliant you all were and (especially the guys - surprise, surprise!) said you were all really gorgeous and we all loved your set list. My mum was a little worried when I told her I'd booked live entertainment and I remember her a few months ago asking me 'will I know any of the songs they do?' Oh yes, you've guessed it, she was the one in the gold skirt and top on the dance floor all night dragging everyone up and throwing lots of (unusual) shapes!?!?!?!?
I also wanted to say thank you particularly for being so kind to my slightly bonkers nan and to my Auntie Marg. Auntie Marg was apparently talking all about it the next day (normally she doesn't/can't say very much) yet she was raving all about it and was excited about 'being in the band'! (ahh, bless!). You certainly worked your magic on my nan too, because she normally wont let go of that walking stick, yet it was laying on the top of the radiator by the dance floor most of the night!
You were absolutely super and really made the night.

What can we say?.. you blew us away at our wedding reception party on 5th July (High Rocks) with your amazing energy & performance!
With a wedding full of all shapes, sizes, ages and colours, we were desperate to make sure that everybody had a good time and got up on the dance floor, and with you guys in charge of the evening, we couldn't fail!!... all our guests had a great time, and raved about you guys! Lady Marmalade were fantastic, very professional, great costumes. They put in a lot of effort and arrived early and made sure everything was ok. They sang and played songs which made everyone get up and dance. Our guests were sad to see them have to finish. All of our friends have said how fab they were and my husband's work have asked for their details for their work xmas do and my Uncle said if he has a party he would love to use them too. They were easy to talk to on the phone and put their requirements for power in simple terms so it was easy for me to sort out - I also believe they liased with our marquee company and venue owners.
Thank you very much for the calling around you did and finding the right deal for us, I was dubious about using an agency but was impressed by the way you kept calling back with better ideas and offers.
