Comments: We couldn't have been happier with both the band and the service we received. The music was fantastic and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. We had many compliments about the choice of music.
The band arrived with plenty of time to spare and set up when we were ready with the minimum of fuss.
They also didn't complain about their less than luxurious dressing room! I would recommend them to others without hesitation.

Comments: We had a fantastic wedding day full of memorable moments.
A big part of the wonderful evening atmosphere was down to the presence of the Johnny Fingers Trio, who created an outstanding musical backdrop. They arrived quietly, set up with a minimum of fuss, looked the part and were very pleasant to talk to. Their enthusiasm for jazz was evident in the way they played and numerous people commented on how good they are. The volume level was not intrusive and you could still hold conversation with guests without having to raise your voice. They played three sets of 45 minutes, including a good many songs we'd asked for, and they showed no signs of flagging by the end!
We'd not hesitate to recommend them to anybody who wants a professional, class act of top musicians, providing the perfect atmosphere at a very reasonable price.

Comments: Sorry it has taken so long for me to reply - we were away on holiday until late January so only just got back to Sydney and horrible work!
I have to say that planning a wedding in the UK from Australia is not something I would recommend unless you have a fantastic organiser like my mum! However as music is such a personal choice my hubby and I wanted to make the decision on our wedding reception band - being on the other side of the world meant that we could not go and check bands out ourselves, and so web based searches were our only option. I stumbled across Alive Network on the web, and was impressed with the huge range of artists available, and it was fairly simple to search via genre and to download snips of songs. We chose Johnny Fingers Trio fairly late in the day, and it worked out that he was based in the same town as the venue - perfect! It was slightly daunting putting all your faith in the recommendations of a website but I can only say that in all our dealings with yourself and with Johnny direct, I always felt confident that they would deliver, and all emails were always answered swiftly. .
Johnny was really flexible in what we wanted - even when we requested a singer at the last minute - he also played piano during our reception drinks and then moved through to the dance floor later to play with his band. It was a perfect mix - we had a fairly small, low ceilinged room (16th century I think!) to dance in, which was the perfect intimate environment for his jazz/swing music, and kept everyone of all ages up dancing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Johnny Fingers Trio and Alive Network to anyone - especially if they are planning wedding receptions from overseas!
Thanks Rob, hope Blighty isn't too chilly at the mo - it's mid summer here in Sydney so all blue skies and 30 degrees!

Comments: Many apologies for the very late response to your e-mail. We had a great time at our wedding but it was a bit of a shock coming straight back from our honeymoon into Christmas preparations!
The entertainment was great. The band arrived impressively early and were
fantastic - unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to have proper chat with them so I hope they were looked after properly.
Our guests were impressed with the music (and how young they all looked!) so please forward on our thanks to them all.
Thanks also for your help,

Comments: Thank you, Emma!
We had a fantastic wedding thank you, we both thoroughtly enjoyed it and the
Johnny Fingers Trio were EXCELLENT! All the guests commented on how good
they were - a great sound and at just the right level too. They were
punctual and in fact had to hang around for us to finish the speeches but
they still played their two hour set. I would not hesitate to recommend
them to other people. Thanks, too, to Alive Network for your services; if
I'm ever asked to recommend an entertainment agent, I will certainly pass on
your name.
