Emma (bass and vocals) met Iliyan (keyboards percussions vocals) at high school and ever since they have been a musical partnership on stage. They both come from a serious classical background Emma as a violinist Iliyan as a percussionist and pianist both with scores of classical concerts under their belt. A wonderful mixture of experience and inspiration Jazz Bite always get the audience going whatever the occasion. They do all sorts of events.
They model themselves on artists such as Randy Crawford Anita O'Day Ella Fitzgerald Diana Krall Oscar Peterson Dave Brubeck Sting and more – with influences like these it is no surprise they call themselves Jazz Bite and compose jazz. When it comes to pleasing an audience however they are extremely versatile with a massive repertoire including soul rhythm ’n’ blues pop and rock from the 50s onward and needless to say jazz standards.
This is how they introduce themselves:
“We call ourselves Jazz Bite because we are into interpreting jazz. We don't put ourselves in the category of jazz musicians and don't try to categorize our music at all. We just give ourselves the freedom of interpretation and that is what we call a ‘bite of jazz’.”
Jazz Bite has a growing network of clients, located throughout the UK and Europe including, Rotary Club, Texaco oil, Pizza Express, a number of hotels, such as Millennium Mayfair Hotel London, Historic Hotels of Norway , Quality Hotels and Best Western Hotels in Scandinavia and Europe and venues such as Art Club Ruse, The Chapel Bar Islington, The Star Gillingham Kent, The Ship Christchurch also Brittany Ferries, Color Line and many more.
Your Event
The duo is happy to consider requests for no extra charge, provided they have at least 4 weeks' notice. They can provide suitable music between sets including chill out, pop and jazz.

Jazz Bite preformed a wide variation of Jazz, Soul, and Pop, also slow and fast tracks. Any request was no trouble at all for them and we were accommodated in every word of the sense.

Comments: From our first contact with Jazz Bite they were friendly and helpful. This was a 50th wedding anniversary party and jazz bite helped to create a happy and relaxed atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed the music, there was lots of dancing and applause from those in the room. We would definitely book them again. The booking procedure was easy, and the co-ordinator friendly and helpful, there was no pressure to make a booking!
