Choosing music for a wedding ceremony

Helpful hints and tips to guide you through choosing the right live music for your wedding ceremony.
Choosing music for a wedding ceremony

What better to way to set the mood for your wedding ceremony than enchanting, serene live music performed by first rate musicians.

Live music helps to create a wonderful back drop for the ceremony. It helps your guests to settle as they await the brides entrance which will be all the more majestic after the build up provided by your musicians.

The musicians can also accompany the hymns or songs and play the happy couple out of the church or civil reception venue. The music can continue during the taking of photographs and helps to enhance the enchanting atmosphere beyond the ceremony.

Setting the atmosphere

When choosing the most suitable music for your wedding you should consider the atmosphere you'd like to create.

Selecting special pieces of music.

By the time you have chosen the band or artists you want to play at your wedding you will probably be familiar with the music they play as their set list or repertoire info is listed on their profile pages.

In most cases the selection of songs or pieces of music which artists play will be left to their discretion. They are in the perfect position to suggest or choose the ideal selection of music from their repertoire to suit your requirements.

However, should you have a specific piece of music or song in mind which you simply must have at your wedding, you are perfectly welcome to make requests and our artists will try their best to accommodate. These requests should be forwarded to Alive Network well in advance of the event.
